Our purpose
NPECC is an independent education council dedicated to standards for continuing education serving nurse practitioners and advanced practice teams. NPECC develops criteria for educational design, commercial independence, faculty disclosure, assessment, evaluation, and records. Delivery of learning activities and certificates may be provided through affiliated platforms such as NPCEUs (npceus.org). NPECC does not issue state licenses or national board certifications.
Mission
NPECC advances quality continuing education for nurse practitioners through independent standards, transparent review, and evidence-based professional development.
What we are
- An education council focused on CE quality criteria
- A promoter of evidence-based, commercially independent design
- A partner to delivery platforms that meet process expectations
What we are not
- Not a state board of nursing
- Not a national certification board (e.g., AANPCB-style exam body)
- Not ANCC, and not a substitute for ANCC Accredited Provider status unless we hold it and say so
Governance
Formal board seating, bylaws, and public governance documents will be published here as the organization completes legal formation. Day-one digital presence establishes mission, standards direction, and honest labeling.
